Happy New Year!

I’ve been woefully absent from cyberspace and I wish I could say I would do better this year but it’s not likely. Life is beyond busy. Luckily, reading is something that can be done most everywhere and in every minuscule slice of free time (right before passing out cold at the end of the day usually). It’s especially rewarding when you do prop your eyes open to start a book and it’s worth the effort. *happy sigh*

Getting to the point, i.e. my first book recommendation of 2011…Ashlyn Kane‘s American Love Songs. Loved loved loved loved LOVED this story. Everyone should read it. Why? Because I say so, of course. Okay, seriously not just because I said so. American Love Songs is an excellent love story and it has rockstars! (Yes, they’re one of my few weaknesses but OMG. It’s soooo good.) This one is done a little differently, as you’ll be able to tell if you read the excerpt here—there are short blog entries like that throughout the story—and it’s brilliant!
